Right now I live in an area called "Fairlington" which is in arlington, VA.
I LOVE this area. It is beautiful, the neighborhood is all couples with children or dogs (everyone is always out walking their dog except us, lol...not ready for one yet).
We are 5 minutes to DC and 5 minutes to Old Town, VA which is a beautiful town on the water with tons of shops and restaurants.
If my family all lived here it would be perfect...we are trying to move to be closer to family but now I love it so much I get sad about leaving...
My brother lives close to here, and i visit a lot, I LOVE it!

In the States, i would have to say Manhattan, if I could afford it! I would love a large apartment on Central Park West or the Upper East Side, but of course, on my salary that would never happen! 
I also LOVED living in Chicago. Such a down-to-earth city where rents were actually affordable and people were so friendly.
Long Island i love because it's near family, the beaches, and the city (because I can't afford to live there!)
Outside of the States, I would have to say Ireland.... My parents are from there and so much of my family is there. I also love the scenery and the more laid-back, no BS approach to life. I would love to build a house in Donegal by the sea...

I'd love to live in Berlin someday. I love that city. Second choice is London, which we are hopefully moving to next year. Right now we are living in Sydney, which is ok, but I can't wait to move.

We used to live in Fairlington about 3 years ago! We loved it! We loved going to all the restaurants in Shirlington as well.

Ok so for the most part I love where I live... A little town called Willow Spring North Carolina... It is so peaceful and stress free... I just can do without the servere thunderstorms...

I LOVED Key West, but the cost of living, hurricanes, and miles away from my family were hard. If I had LOTS of money I would move back in a heart beat. I LOVED my job and my friends are awsome from there! I miss them so much!

I absolutely love living in Southern Cali- Southbay/Los Angeles area. The weather is just right, we have vitually no crime to speak of, the beach is only a mile away and there is so much to see and do.
I just wish it wasn't so expensive- my DH keeps threatening to move us.

i love it here in chicago... except the weather. too extreme--either too hot or too cold. i like my four seasons. i'd pick london outside of the states.

I loved living in Manhattan- if it wasn't for DH I would still live there
next would be Long Beach
then South FL- I never lived there- but I would love too- most of my family is there and I love the lifestyle- one day

Hmmm...problem is that I don't like everyone being so far away. I'd love a house in Tuscany or Provence.
However, realistically, I'd want to move back to Suffolk. Sayville, Northport, Babylon...some place near the water and with a small town.
I must must must must must must must live in close proximity to the water. No more than 20 minutes to SALT water.

I went to Boston University and would move back to Boston in a heartbeat. I actually said to my DH last night (jokingly), "Can we move back to Boston?" We are both established in our teaching careers, own the house I grew up in, and my DH's mom has not yet cut the apron strings, so I know we are staying on LI! We'll just have to make sure our little baby becomes a terrier and goes to BU! We'll begin the indoctrination early with frequent vacations there!

I love Fairlington! I used to live outside DC and Fairlington was one of my favorite areas. I used to live in a huge apartment building that was right outside of Fairlington, just across King Street. I'd always go in there and walk around! It's a beautiful area. If I'd stayed in DC, I would've wanted to live there.
