Fear the walking dead spoiler question
Our power kicked out for a few minutes at the beginning right before they got to the compound. Did they release the walkers from the arena or did the walkers get out themselves?

while I was annoyed that they did it. I get why they did it and they probably didn't realize what they were doing.
what was annoying me was all the water and food that they just left behind  I was yelling morons take the water and food with you make the time for it. but than I have to remember they have no idea how bad this is yet its just the beginning for them they think there will be an end soon when really there isn't one!

I can't believe it! DH and I were like, wait a minute, did they just let 2000 walkers out? Also when they left their community, they totally left the gate open (unless they closed it when my power was out), so all those 2000 walkers can now head over there and eat all the people they didn't warn.
I am having a hard time rooting for this group, since they seem to pretty much be a bunch of a holes from the start.....

They were so concerned about their neighbors and leaving them all without telling them anything about what was going on.. then they left the damn gate open!!
And did none of that group think for 2 seconds how they were going to get out of the chaos and mayhem that would be unleashed at the compound once they let all those walkers out? Yeah, a distraction for the guards.. but also death for themselves!
this group.. i really can't stand any of them. This was such a struggle for me to watch too because i thought the acting was so bad, and there were a ton of really poorly executed scenes.
I thought the whole 'hey we've got a guy in the basement that we're torturing and no one has an issue with it' scenario was just ridiculous.
i actually cheered when the Army guy showed up at the end and wanted to shoot the old guy. I thought 'good for him, that asssshole deserves to be shot' and then when the daughter got shot, i didn't mind that either because she was so annoying too.
And maybe I missed it.. but they didn't really introduce that new guy in the suit very well. He's just a guy that got a key from a guard.. so lets all follow him? ugh
i did a lot of  watching this show.

YES! I feel like part of the reason that I LOVE the original Walking Dead is that they really did cling onto their humanity as tightly as they could. They really had to deal with some really awful betrayals and the lowest of the low (the Governer, the cannibals, watching friend after friend die, etc) before they started to unravel and lose some of that humanity.
And then here, they have no moral compass and don't care about any human life besides their little circle after a pretty darn short period of time where they are pretty safe.
The old guy (name??) was all gung ho to torture the army guy even though he said he would tell him everything before he even started cutting. Always nice to have a psychopath in the group. Everyone seemed totally cool with it, even though the guards had been protecting them and the mom's only real hope of survival was going with them to the hospital cause she was in bad shape.
Then the guy in the suit letting the other guy get eaten alive. OK that guard was a jerk, but ewww.
The show is going to have to take a real turn if I am going to continue watching, cause with TWD, I root for them! I have no attachment at all to these new characters and actually dislike them immensely.
