Hi Ladies,
Is there room for one more?
I am a regular poster - and I got my BFP yesterday (after spending all of sunday night throwing up!).
I already have a DC, so even though I have been down this road before, I am still very nervous. I had a miscarraige not too long ago so whatever sticky dust you can throw my way I would appreciate it!
My EDD is either 2/14 or 2/15 - I am a little unsure since my cycles are either 30 or 31 days long. (I see a lot of us were busy on mem. day weekend!)
So far, besides the nausea and vomiting, my boobs are slightly sore by my armpits, and I have a LOT of cramping. I was also up at three last night and couldn't go back to sleep until 5am. At this point I welcome the symptoms since I have a huge fear of another miscarraige.
Oh and get THIS - I am already showing...a little. Both my Dh and BF told me they knew I was preggo because my belly has already gotten "soft"!
I wish you all a happy and healthy nine months...and looking forward to getting to know all of you!
YAY!!!! COngrats!!! I'm due 2/15 and I'm bloated as hell!!!!!!

Re: February Mommies to be Thread
I went to the Dr. this afternoon. I was a little disappointed because I couldn't see anything. I just saw a sac and he said he thought he saw a heartbeat in there but I saw nothing. But he told me everything looks great so far and I am due Feb 5th So I will be 6 weeks on Thursday.
He also said since I am paranoid that I can come back next week or the week after before my "official" OB appointment for a sono again. This way it will put my mind at ease. He said a week can make a big difference on a sono.

Re: February Mommies to be Thread
Sounds like we may have the same due date.......when was your LMP??
Yay!!! Seems like everything is going good for you so far!!! Go back next week and set your mind at ease but know that what he saw today is good!!!
I wonder if Monday the 16th will be too early for me to see a heartbeat??
I will be six weeks on Friday....(I think)

Re: February Mommies to be Thread
Hey girls i dont know if you saw my other post.. but i freaked out last nite at work i was in so much pain. it didnt feel so much like cramping and it was higher more like my belly button area and a little lower. So of course i thought the worst and ran to the doc. They took me and did an internal sono. FUN FUN. well of course they couldn't see anything not even a sac but i guess thats normal even at 4w3d. i am supposed to go back the 16th for my first pregnancy scan (as they call it) but ill only be 5w2d till im 5w4d. I know it seems early but im just being followed by an RE thats the only reason im going so early.

Re: February Mommies to be Thread
Welcome to all new BFPs!!
Those who are getting, or have had, early sonos, fear not!
I think the sac is visible at 5 weeks, and a HB at 6 weeks. Keeping in mind EVERY pregnancy is different.
A lot can change/happen in weeks and even days at this stage so don't worry if your sonos aren't showing everything you want to see!
Good luck and healthy pregnancies to us all!

COngrats on teh Sono! Don't worry about not seeing much yet, you are soooo early still. The midwives I go to won't even do an exam until you are 8 weeks along or further because they know that its still very early for sonos and they don't do them often!

Re: February Mommies to be Thread
Insomnia is in full foce today, hence the 5 am post! I think I had some major pre-nesting yesterday. I did 6 loads of laundry and put it away, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom floor by hand, cooked dinner ans started tearing apart rooms to clean them. DH literally had to grab me and make me sit down.
oh And the bobbies are starting to get sore.....I was hoping to avoid this on a little longer....oh well!
Hope everyone has a great day!

I agree- I think that is why they like you to wait until 8 weeks so they can be sure. By then, they pretty much know as I learned the hard way

No my OB doesn't do an "official" Ob visit until 8 weeks or until you have missed 2 periods. Then I get bloodwork, the "talk", and so on. And then is when I stop paying co-payments. Until then like next Tuesday when I go for another sono, I have to still pay a co-payment.

Hello there......for all of you that have gone to the doctor's already for the first check up:
What kind of questions did you ask??
I feel like I should ask and know a ton of things and I really don't have any idea of what I need to know........
Thanks

Re: February Mommies to be Thread
Six weeks tomorrow and I go to the doctor's on Monday.
I don't really feel any "symptoms" either. I have light cramping if I overdo it, but other than that I am just tired. No sore boobs, no m/s nothing.....
I don't really know what I should be asking the doctor......if I need to ask anything at all.....
