Feedback from those who have used ALURE Home Improvement

Wanted to get reviews on quality, workmanship, cleanliness, and service, etc.

I know there have been posts about how they are overpriced, or the most expensive, etc-- but I am looking for feedback other than cost-related feedback.

Allure re-did my parents kitchen and added a bathroom about 3-4 years ago. They were amazing. They were there when they said they would be there, had the timing of everything perfect (delivery of cabinets, countertops, etc.). They cleaned up at the end of the workday. I think there was something with one of the hinges on the cabinet after the work was done and my parents called and they came right out and fixed it, no questions asked. My parents went with them because friends of theirs had their kitchen done also and they thought they were great also. It is almost like you get personal service because the head guy (I forget what he is called), come every day and is in constant contact with you letting you know the plan and answering any questions. Like you said, expensive, but I think well worth it.

I read other posts on here, and wasn't even going to call them based on the "sales pitch" mentality-- but the guy who came was not that way at all. I mean, he did have a ppt presentation, but it kinda made sense for the service we are looking for.

We had a great experience with them. On time, work was finished ahead of schedule, everything turned out great. A+

My parents used them in 2006. Five years later, the soap dish has fallen off the shower wall, the sink faucet leaks at the base, and the vent fan doesn't work anymore.

They've tried to call to get these things repaired with no success.

my neighbors just used them for a complete exterior reno. I obviously don't live there but their house looks AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

We visited their showroom, had someone come out to the house who thought who she was. She acted like we couldnt afford what we wanted, meanwhile our budget was $75k (she didnt know that). Then we had to chase her down for the actual quote. I dont know, I dont like their churn and burn mentaility.

We used them almost six years ago to finish our completely unfinished basement. We were and are very pleased with the work they did for us. They were on-time, very clean and did exactly what we wanted. We did not want anything fancy as we essentially use the basement as a playroom for the kids. The salesman did not try to push anything on us that we did not want. I would recommend them based on our experience.

I always check companies out on the BBB website, they seem good, it says 4 complaints but 4 were resolved...

They replaced all the windows at DH grandma house and they did a great job. She was very happy with them and their work.

They also did my aunts basement and she was very happy with them as well.

My brother just used them for a complete bathroom remodel, he spent a fortune, and is not happy. Overall it looks nice, but the work was sloppy. You can see silicone around the toilet onto the tiles, and the same by the sink and tub. It is sloppy for the money he paid. He's in the process of trying to get them to come back and fix it.

Our friends used them to re-do their small bathroom in their co-op. It was their 5 day bathroom deal. Well, it took them over 3 weeks. The sink they installed was cracked. There was a large gap between the door jam and the tiles. During the demo, they broke the ceiling in the hallway and the wall in their bedroom that connected their bedroom amd bathroom. When they patched both breaks, it was bumpy and a mess. They paid nearly double to re-do their bathroom then what DH and I paid for our bath and ours is nearly double the size - and their bath doesn't have any bells or whistles. I would never use them. I think their work stinks and are a complete rip off. You're buying the name - that's it!

thanks everyone for the feedback. We aren't doing a bathroom or anything like that through them-- it would be a sunroom. So it is a special product and an Owens Corning system. It's more like we would be buying Owens Corning, not Alure-- but I wanted to get feedback on Alure in general.

I know from my previous posts, there aren't many people who have put in sunrooms-- and there are only like 3 companies to choose from!!

Also, my parents used them for gutters and were very satisfed with their work.
