Feeding Q: DC and meat
How old is your DC? What meat/chicken/turkey do they eat?
My DS is 17 months old. He doesn't eat ANY meat protein unless you hide it in raviolli.
Yesterday, I gave him a bite of my lamb chop and he DEVOURED it. So I gave him his own - you'd a thought he was a rabid dog going after a kill.
I cut the meat into strips to the bone so he could just rip it off.
He kept asking for more but there wasn't any. I did take it away from him before he got very close to the bone - but he did a really good job on it.
Any thoughts?

Looks like he is ready. At that age ate chicken, meatloaf, meatballs...really I gave her any meat we were eating.

Chelsea had been eating meat for awhile. She generally eats chicken and beef. Occasionally I will give her fish. Usually whatever we eat for dinner she is eating too. She is 17.5 months also.

Re: Feeding Q: DC and meat
DS eats almost no meat at 19 months--he will eat chicken nuggets, fish sticks, tuna, chicken salad, and such, but nothing like lamb strips, chicken bits, etc.
But if DC ate the lamb last night, sounds like she's ready. I would keep trying it and maybe beef.
