Feeling kinda hopeless
I know we all go through our good days and bad days…I am kind of having a bad day / week….between finding out my SIL is having twins and just thinking how it is practically impossible for me to get pg given my PCOS / egg quality and my DH’s severe MF…I wonder if someone up there is trying to tell us something…
I just really feel hopeless. I even asked the doctor yesterday, just tell me if we are wasting our time here - he said No, there is a chance for you guys...I want to believe it but I am really having a hard time.
I keep picturing us as the cool aunt & uncle with lots of pets and no children

I can totally relate also. Sometimes I feel this is never going to happen. Some days it feels less than others but its there all the time.

This is what we are as well.  I turned to DH and showed him what you wrote and he just looked  because that's what I always say too.
It doesn't help when you have a family member who thinks they're helping by telling their kids to tell you 'it's ok- you can just stay the world's greatest aunt and uncle forever'--- because clearly that's not possible if I become a mom?  It's like stabbing a knife in my heart every time I hear it, and I know they say it to be nice, but I don't take it that way.

Don't lose hope! Your doctor wouldn't tell you there is a chance if there wasn't. What is your plan moving forward? Try to hang tight and look forward to that.

I know exactly how you feel! We are doing our first IVF cycle next month. I'm not a very religious person, more a person of science BUT a little part of me feels like, geez for the past year we had one strike after the next. Is someone up there trying to tell us something???
