Feet/legs turning red when standing?

I got a note from my daycare provider today stating that she noticed DS's feet and legs get red when he stands. DS is just learning how to stand now. He does it well with support. I never noticed the redness before but she said she saw it today. Anyone else ever notice this in their DC? Is it normal once the child starts to learn how to support their body weight?

I don't know if it's normal, but my DS's feet do get red. He was evaluated for foot position and tip toe issues and they didn't comment on it. So I'm assuming it's ok, but I guess I should ask my ped.
