Felt so bad... a baby bunny was following me and my son last night!
He/she wasn't any bigger than the palm of your hand, so little. But, my son saw it sitting on the sidewalk (we were going for a walk). We stopped to look at it and then it started following us. Since when do baby bunnies follow you? It followed us a long way. I felt so bad. I didn't want him to get hurt. He was right near a busy road, people walking their dogs, but there really isn't anything we could have done. I didn't want to touch him because you just done know if he's sick or if that will keep mommy away and I'm PG so I didn't want to take a chance. I didn't have my cell phone so I couldn't call my DH to come move him, not that he would have stayed. It just seemd like he was lost. It's been over 100 degrees here in NC and he looked hungry/thirsty. I felt so helpless without my phone. I know by the time I went home to get anything I wouldn't have been able to find him again since it was getting dark.  I hope he's ok and he found his mommy!  My son was so upset for not being able to help him.

I love people like you.  I would have felt the exact same way, but honestly, in your situation, would have done the exact same thing. I hope he's ok too.

Oh my..I'm so sad about this too.
I see bunnies all over the place and usually they run..this little guy must have been in trouble.
I know that doesn't help you but I would feel the same way.

We had baby bunnies for several years and the young ones often seemed fearless. I could lay in the grass and take pictures from just a few feet away. We haven't had bunnies for a few years now - I wish they would return. I suspect it was the feral cats that were around here for awhile. They seem to have diminished so I'm hoping the bunnies return.

OHHHHHHHHHH!! So sorry you couldn't get him!! This is how I adopted my bunny 3 years ago!!!
He was on the sidewalk IN BROOKLYN. Hopped out onto the sidewalk in front of me and the rest is history. He was the best pet, I loved him dearly. He passed last dec and i'm missing him terribly (thinking of him today as a matter of fact, amazing you posted this today of all days, I was remembering him hopping around my livingroom today and how much I miss him).
Hope the little guy is ok
