Femara or Clomid?
If we don't get PG this month or the next month we might be trying Clomid. Well, first I have to find out if she can monitor me or not without it being an "infertility" treatment? Maybe she can use my Endo card again. It technically wouldn't be lying. I didn't know anything about Femara so I never asked my doctor about that. Which one do you think would be better to take? They do the same thing, right?

Re: Femara or Clomid?
I believe they do the same thing, but I heard femara doesn't stay in your system as long as clomid. I also heard it doesn't negatively effect your uterine lining like clomid could or dry up your CM.
I had also read that some people who didn't have luck with clomid, DID have luck with femara.
That said, there are tons of ladies who have took clomid without a problem and the only side effect was a little

Re: Femara or Clomid?
Thanks!
My doctor doesn't think that Clomid will help since I O on my own every month, but she said, you never know. Lots of women get PG using it. I told her that it might just help release more than 1 egg and increase my chances since my chances are already slim. She said said yeah, maybe?
I was just wondering about the difference because I've heard about the uterine lining issue, and with me having Endometriosis, I NEED my lining in it's best form as hard as it is already to get PG. I'll definitely ask my OB/GYN at my next appointment.

Re: Femara or Clomid?
I was told that my RE's office uses Femara, rather than Clomid, because it has less side effects and a lower chance of multiples. But, they both do the same thing and many women have gotten lucky on both.
