Fess up ladies... I know I'm not the only one...
that comes home from shopping and hides everything I bought!  Then when DH says "Where did you get that" I say "THIS?? I've had this forever... you don't notice much, do you??!"
Just got home from buying two of the cutest pairs of brown shoes for work.... and just finished hiding them in with all my other shoes. Need to wear them a few times without DH seeing them so when he does notice them I can show him the bottoms to prove they are 'old'

Really? You hide your purchases? If JT ever had anything to say to me about what I buy, I'd tell him to bite me because I work my tail off, too! But it goes both ways. I also don't get on his back about his 500+ collection of dvds (although, let's face it, it would be a lot better if he spent that money on clothes for me )

OMG I DO THAT TOO! Those are the 'stories' he laughs his azz off over and just rolls his eyes about. I always start them off with "Well.... they were originally 100... but then they had this HUGEEEEE sale and I got them for 30 bucks!!"

you gotta lower it down a bit more - like to $10-$20 you can even mix it up and say you used a coupon

I try to lie, but DH just says whatever I can't stop you it's in your DNA We do have a $300 rule. You are not allowed to spend more than $300 with out talking about it first.

Ummm....me I also tell him that everything was "on sale" which it generally is.
I know I don't have to justify what I spend and that it's my money and I can do what I want, but I really like to shop so I like to keep what I spend to myself

I would be doing the same but just poker tables, slot machine, golf gear, guitars, hobby stuff from A to Z, magic, coins, you name it (only child ? no !!! )
It's obvious who's the big spender in my house. The few things I do like to spend on, he's more than happy. He throws me cash , he's good like that, my big shot. lol.
I actually have to show off my great deals, Id never hide em 
Im the big saver, the banks love me
(and hopefully my kids will too in 20 years
but yes, men are totally clueless, so I can see myself getting away with hiding anything if I had to.

I dont hide much. I hide little things like hair clips and stuff, b/c sometimes they add up and he would be like, dont you have 40 of them already??
Major things I dont hide from him.

I do the same.
Sometimes I will tell him a bought a 'few things' and show him a shirt or a pair of slacks.. and later break out another shirt or a suit. He is very observant and KNOWS it is new... but usually lets it go with a roll of the eyes!
