Fessing up when you make a mistake
I'm preggers and my employers don't know yet. Because of my current state I've been making several forgetful mistakes at work. On Friday I was supposed to overnight a package to a doctor for his signature before he went to Florida. Well, I did overnight it but I forgot to make it for Saturday delivery so it arrived on Monday. My boss is obviously upset that the doctor didn't get the package before left for Florida and I have yet to fess up that this is because I forgot to make it for a Saturday delivery. Would you confess or would you just make it seem that Fedex or the door man made a mistake on not getting it there on time? I'm feeling guilty but at the same time I really don't want to suffer the consequences.

Definitely fess up. It will be worse if they find out the truth. It was an honest mistake.
