feta cheese?
Is feta cheese pasturized, i just had a little on my greek salad, i was really craving it, and now hope everything is ok. I mean look at all those women in greece who had healthy babies, i am sure they ate feta cheese when they were pregnant.

Im Greek so feta cheese is in my blood!!!
I do eat it buy in moderation....
the packaged feta you find in supermarkets is actually pasteurized....

I ate greek my entire pregnancy with my DD and now with this one. Almost all fetas are pastuerized. You'll be fine

I bet almost all restaurant feta (unless it's a super-authentic greek place) is garanteed pasteurized. Just like pizza place mozarella...
It's pretty hard to find the perishible/ non past. kind, it's rather $$$ (usually $11 or more a lb) and it's only good a couple days. Most restaurants wouldn't want to invest in something that goes bad so quickly.

Im greek also and I would love some you have no idea its in my house all the time cause DH eats it but I just can't get myself to do it I am too scared I know my yaiyai (gramma) probably did but i just can't
