FET..My friend has to do a FET..what is the protocol?

My GF just did a fresh IVF cycle which resulted in a BFP but then she miscarried at 6 weeks :( ...she so bummed but is buckling up her boot straps and going for it again ASAP...

RE said to wait for her next AF and then she is being put on Estrogen...

I never did a FET so any advice would be helpful. We anticipate her AF to be July 17thish...

Can someone please LMK how the FET works?

When I did my FET I started with BCP for a few days, maybe 7-10. Then I took 3 days off. Went on estrogen patches for about 10 days and then started PIO day of the transfer.

I did a few FETs, and my surrogate is doing one as well. Her protocol is identical to mine. 2wks of BCP, 10 days of just lupron (overlapping a little with the pill), 10 days of lupron and estrogen (this is an estimate, it depends how long it takes for the lining to thicken), and then depending on how far long the embies, you are on progesterone for that number of days until transfer. So for example, I have 5 day blasts. My surrogate will take progesterone for 5 days, transfer, and of course continue to take progesterone throughout the 2ww and hopefully beyond.

Typically from the first lupron injection to the transfer it's about a month, so about 5/6wks from start to beta.
