Fifth Body Found at Gilgo Beach
Just heard on news 12 Suffolk County police have confirmed that remains discovered yesterday at Gilgo Beach are human.
Ugh, I hope they catch whoever did this soon...

Older. They were skeletal remains.

Older and just discovered.
I drive through there everyday to go to work, I take the Ocean Pkwy and the day before last there were cars and trucks all along the side of the road by Gilgo. I figured something was up.

They said on Newsday.com yesterday that with the nicer weather, searching would begin again. They had stopped due to the snow and cold I believe.
I fear they are going to find a LOT more, but obviously hope there aren't any more to find.

Same here. I was driving home this morning on the SS and I saw the electronic sign that said Ocean Pkwy was closed where they found the bodies last time and I thought something may be going on related to the first case.
I wonder how they didn't find this body before when they were over there with cadaver dogs? I wonder if the bones were dumped there after the fact?
