Last year everyone thought Mickey Mouse Club was going to win "David A" and this year The Rocky Horror Picture Show was going to win "Adam" and the underdog ended up winning....
You've GOT to love a humble winner. He was STUNNED and felt truly undeserving.

Yeah she is saying thank G-d he was a student when I married him and I had no reason to sign a pre-nup. I'd be shocked if they made it past another 2 years. The guy is 23 and millions of girls want him. Yeah, I am that cynical.

He was so shocked, he couldn't grasp it or swallow it. He felt Adam was more deserving....
He was very humble.
I  his dad but they really didn't show him, they showed the wife and mom hugging.

Tonight is the only night I have ever watched.. That final song Kris sang gave me chills!! Totally awesome. On a side note: I <3 Keith Urban and I think he has the best arms and a$$ LOL

That was the best american idol show I've ever seen!!!!!! Kiss, Queen, Kara going against bikini girl, keith & kris.....i could go on!!! Awesome show!

I am so happy Kris won!!!!! I think Gokey fans voted for him making it possible!!
He is so sweet, so humble. When he hugged his wife I was hysterical. He will do well..and so will Adam.

I dunno. First it disturbed me that Slash was on American Idol- and I LOVE Slash. And I actually like Kiss. but...I dunno. It's like a horrible clash of different worlds to me. Maybe it feels like a huge sell-out for ANYONE to be on American Idol, and when it's people I like, I'm all disturbed?
I think somewhere along the way while we weren't looking Idol actual earned some musical street
cred. Weird--I know!

I only had to FF though Norman Abnormal's singing & the 8 billion commercials for anything that wasn't So You Think You Can Dance, including the Ford "video".

OK I knew this was coming...all the sore losers are are going to be coming out of the woodwork. That song that Kris sang at the end was not a song for Adam and it is going to be Kris's first single and that is a perfect song for him. Adam has a career already doing Broadway and this is a chance for Kris to shine. Be happy for him. He deserves the chance that Adam already has available to him. THey are both winners in the long run.

ETA: Kris is alright but kind of generic, he has a good voice but I don't feel it is anything special. Anyone with a decent enough voice could sound like him.
