Wow it looks great!! Can you come to my house to decorate? Where did you get your bamboo shades? They would work great in my DR & possibly stop the dogs from barking at every little thing that passes the house. Thanks.

I think we have the same laminate floor--how do you clean it? We just did ours, and there are always footprints!

I think we have the same laminate floor--how do you clean it? We just did ours, and there are always footprints!
We never see footprints, mostly cat hair! We bought a little chargeable vacuum that we use a few times a week on it and then once or twice a week we mop it. We bought the mop that has the cloth bottom (like a swiffer) and you can take the cloth things off and throw them in the wash. We use laminate floor/wood floor spray and clean it that way.

Yea the wainscotting was already white, We got it in HD i think, it comes in 8 ft. strips and we cut them down to 4 ft. After nailing them to the wall and caulking where the strips meet, we painted over it all again with washable white paint.

hey jess - what mop & spray do you use? i have laminate in my apartment and i'm always getting footprints and pawprints and sometimes streaks too - i want to try something new.....
