We are in the process of having built in shelving and new mantel around our fireplace. We have brick now and would like to put marble there. All the surrounding wood book shelves, cabinets, mantel and moldings will be painted white DH and I can't decide on a color for the marble. he wants black solid marble, I prefer a light beige (ie like the picture). We have an old house (1929) and I feel that the black will look too modern. Anyone have/seen a color they love? Pics a plus! http://houzz.com/photos/554725
