First 5k done!
Ran the Diva 5k today- first race ever. I was sooo nervous.
I said I would be happy with anything under 40:00, and THRILLED if I could do it at about 35:00
I did it in 34:50 
SO happy!!!!
This is def a learning experience...next time I need to be further ahead in the corral. I went by my pace, but the people near me were much slower, or walking, and it was so hard to get around everyone and keep pace. Clusterf*ck!!!

My biggest pet peeve is people lining up at a faster pace!!! Nyc races are by pace and the starts are so much better. Cow harbor too.
Now are you ready for veterans day and thanksgiving races! ?

Yay!
I hate having to weave in and out of people--you are right, people do not line up in the right corral!
Something to think about--you definitely ran over a 5k if you had to weave in and out of people so you will be even faster if you started out further up!
