First night in his big boy bed (With Question)
So, Mason slept in his brand new big boy room last night. We got his a full size bed (he looked like a peanut in it) and put on the bedrails.
New room and bed and he did GREAT!!! I was so happy. We put on his Homedics sound spa music with the light show on the ceiling. Took him a long time to go to sleep, but sometimes he does that in his crib. Laughed, sang and talked to himself.
Started out under the blanket. Didn't quit get the pillows. LOL! First was ok then he was all over the bed like he is in his crib. Is that normal? Do they eventually get it? Just thought it was funny that every time I got up in the middle of the night he was somewhere new. End of bed, by the pillow, feet on the pillow, etc.

Totally normal!
DD is 2 1/2 and this morning I found her on top of the sheets at the foot of the bed. Sometimes she does stay in the correct position though - guess they're just busy sleepers! They'll get it eventually.
Congrats on the big boy bed!

Yay..so glad to hear it went well.
We're going to start Albert in his new big boy room this weekend. As for the pillows I started putting one in the crib with Albert after his last round of being sick during Christmas Eve..it took him a couple of days but now LOVES his pillow.

Re: First night in his big boy bed (With Question)
Sasha had been sleeping with a pillow so she got that. Her first night, she got under covers-- only to want to sleep on top with the blanket she had been using in the crib.
Now she fully sleeps in bed like a normal person, but my friends son still sleeps over them with a blanket-- so anything is normal! They just need to get used to it.
Glad you had a good first night!
