First OB apt with pregnancy?
Did you get sent for bw right away?
I had my first check up to confirm pregnancy last monday.. but he didnt tell me to go for bw.. and i got tuesday for my sono.
I could have swore i went for the bw right away with my dd. Could it be that i dont need to go through all the genetic testing since i just had my dd 9 months ago?

I went through another set of bloodwork the second time around right away. They still check for all those diseases etc.

My OB still did the 9 vials, even though DC is just about a year old.
I got the HCG right away to track if they were doubling, and they do the genetics just as a matter of being thorough. I guess every practice is different though. If you want the testing done I would ask for a script & go to the lab.

I got my BFP on a Saturday, went to dr. on Monday and was sent for bloodwork on Tuesday.

i didn't get sent for bloodwork until i was about 8 weeks (didn't actually make it to the lab until about 10 weeks).

Maybe thats what hes doing.. Im in my 6week so.. I just could have sworn i went right away with my dd... I defiantly feel prego, so im not worried.

I actually went for blood work to check my HCG and progesterone levels right away. I actually went before I even saw the doctor, and then I saw the doctor a week later. I got the full blood work with all the viles when I was about 8 weeks. There was one thing that they didn't have to test for because my pregnancy with my son was so recent.
I would definitely call and see about getting a blood test to check for your HCG and progesterone levels.

I had my first OB appt. on Wednesday and I just went for my bloodwork this morning!! and my god do they take A LOT! And then I go for my 1st sono 2 weeks from today
