First time mom's maternity clothes
I'm 19w on Mon and all my clothes are big on me. When did you start wearing maternity clothes? I have a little belly but still just looks like I'm bloated.

First time mom's maternity clothes
I'm 32 weeks and not fully in maternity clothes. I wear maternity jeans, but most of my tops are not maternity. Everyone is different so it will be hard to get one answer for this. It depends on how you wear your clothes regularly -- baggy or tight -- if you need to switch as soon as you have a belly!

First time mom's maternity clothes
I'm 38 wks and while I wear maternity jeans and occasionally some maternity dresses, everything else I wear is non-maternity. It really just depends on how your clothes fit before and how you feel. I didn't want to spend a ton of $$ on maternity clothes and I wear things slightly baggy anyway, so most of my normal clothes still fit. I'm also not that huge for 38 weeks, thank goodness :)

Re: First time mom's maternity clothes
Im 15 weeks and wearing maternity jeans and leggings. I was very small before hand and was wearing kids pants so it was time for me to invest in some pants to fit. My tops are still non maternity at this point.

Re: First time mom's maternity clothes
My maternity jeans were always big one me. I didn't start filling stuff out til 24 weeks or so. And that's with twins. I feel like I showed late though.

Re: First time mom's maternity clothes
I am almost 33 weeks and I wear maternity jeans but tops are still what I have as some of my tops are flowy and loose fitting. Like everyone is saying it depends on how your close fit you and what makes you comfortable.

First time mom's maternity clothes
I have been in maternity pants since somewhere in the teens... tops I started wearing in the late teens early 20's. I still don't fit in maternity dresses. My belly, although pretty big, just doesn't fill them out right and it always looks weird.

Re: First time mom's maternity clothes
You will grow into them! Early in my pregnancy my regular clothes were too small and my maternity clothes were all too big. One shirt in particular always just looked funny b/c it was so loose. Well, I put it on last week (at 29w) and poof! It fit perfectly! Better for your clothes to be big in the beginning so your belly isn't hanging out at the end.

Re: First time mom's maternity clothes
I'm 14.5 weeks and just started wearing some maternity. My pants were tight before getting my BFP so even though I'm not really showing yet I need bigger pants. Since a few friends handed down maternity clothes I'm wearing them.

This except I do fit in the two or three dresses I bought at 22 weeks. I am carrying very small but I got a dress from Isabella Oliver and a dress from BOBA Maternity and I think both are designed to stay with you from a little bump to a big one. I'm happy with both. I got one other dress from Destination Maternity and it was and still is too big and I never wear it.
I also still wear some of my non-maternity sweaters/shirts, the ones that were loose fitting before pregnancy.
