first tooth

when did your DC lose their first tooth?

it seems like ALL DD school mates and outside school friends have lost their first and more. She is almost 6 and dosent have one lose tooth, not even close. I have read that between 6-7 is the norm, but it seems that earlier is the norm with everyone around here, most started losing just after turning 5!

so I guess I am just when your DC started losing their teeth?

PS i know every child is different, I am not in a rush for her to lose her teeth (her baby teeth are perfect) I just dont want her to start to feel left out (not that i can change it!)

My DD hasn't lost any yet and nothing is even loose yet. She is 7. DS (her twin) has lost 5 already.

DD is just turned 7 and lost 5 teeth. She started at 6. My nephew who is 6 has lost 9 teeth already. I also have a friend who's DD is 9 and just lost her first tooth. I think the Dentist told us that between 6-7 is the average range.

DS is 6 1/2 and has yet to loose a tooth, but he insists one is wiggly. I think I was about 6 1/2 when I lost my first tooth. Do you remember when you lost your first tooth? DS has already had one molar come in though.

My oldest DD didn't lose her 1st tooth until 6 yrs 9 mos. Her younger sister lost her 1st tooth at 5.5. They are 8 and 6.5 now and I think they've lost the same amount.

I've heard it depends on when they got their first tooth in...my oldest was a late teether; she didn't get her first tooth until 12-13 mos.

sounds like she's on cue with some other kids, just no one around here lol

she got her first tooth at 4 months...so she was VERY early with getting her teeth.

My DD turned 6 in June she lost her first tooth end of October, her second 2weeks later and dentist says her top 2 middle are lose now.

She told me she was the last to lose a tooth BUT I since found out she has older friends who haven't lost one now.

DS turned 7 the end of November. A month before his birthday he had to have 2 teeth pulled. These teeth were not loose but the grown up teeth were coming up behind them. Since then he has had no loose teeth. He also tells me that all of his friends have been loosing there teeth since last year. We asked the dentist that we take him to and the dentist said that although it's late, some kids start loosing there teeth at 7 or older.

My oldest didn't lose a tooth till well after he turned 7. He lost two in a row quickly, and now it has been a year since and he hasn't lost anymore. My almost 6.5 yo just lost his bottom 2.

My eldest was 6 years and 8 months.

My middle son is 6 years and 5 months and nothing major going on yet...he is so upset - yes almost everyone he knows from school has lost a tooth. To my surprise he is getting his 6 yr molars (bottom two). MY kids are late teethers and I didn't expect that til 7yrs like my older son did.

My dd is 6 and a half. She lost her bottom two teeth last month and now the tops are loose...

DS turned 6 in September and his bottom front teeth are just starting to wiggle

DS was almost 5. He's lost 6 or 7 now I think. He's 6.5
