First Trimester - Spotting
I'm on my first trimester and I'm experiencing light brown spotting, not too much, but it comes and goes. Is this something that I should be concerned about?

Thank you!
I have my first appt with my OB in 2 weeks and I'm wondering if I should make that sooner.

It doesnt hurt to call and just tell them that you are having some light spotting. If its not bright red and accompanied by cramping I think your fine.

Re: First Trimester - Spotting
I had spotting in my first tri.
Wasn't an issue. They put me on progesterone and that was it.
Don't worry.

Re: First Trimester - Spotting
Is it associated with cramping? Spotting can go either way...I would call your dr.

No cramping at all! I know this may be too much TMI, but I'm constantly going to the bathroom and since yesterday I noticed the light spotting. It's light brownish, but not red. I called my doctor and explained the situation, so they're going to see me ASAP.
Thank you.

I agree. Call the Dr. but usually brown spotting is fine as long as you are not cramping you should be fine.

Re: First Trimester - Spotting
I spotted from week 4 through about week 9. Doctor said it was normal, but advised me not to exercise or do anything strenuous. It finally went away and everything is fine. SPotting is more common than we think. Call your doc but don't worry too much.
