FISH results -UPDATE
NORMALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
That's 95% accurate. Thank GOD.
Thanks for all your support ladies!!
Madonna told me to call my MD this afternoon for results. I prefer not to call them all day - it'll make me more anxious to play phone tag.
So I called to see if they'll be calling me no matter what and the receptionist said they only call if there is a problem.
Umm, really?? For something like this???
So I asked that they call me either way but now I'm going to be freaked the second I hear my phone ring.
If you had an amnio - did you get a call with results from FISH either way?
She said, "oh well it's just preliminary"
It's supposed to be 98% accurate - doesn't that warrant a call??

I would call before 4.
I don't have experience with this but I went through an agonizing waiting period for a chromosomal work up on Owen.
I called every day in the afternoon, I didn't want to call too early because what if they got the results right after I called, maybe they wouldn't call me. Either way, you go nuts.
I would try to hold out until 3 or 4

Our genetic counselor told us she'd call as soon as she got the results, either way. They knew how anxious I was to hear. But both times, it was I'll call with the results, not I'll call if there is anything bad.

I got FISH results from my doctor no matter what, good, bad, indifferent. Demand a call no matter what. PS - my doctors office said they got results at 3, so I'd call now!
