Fisher Price® Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
so i hear such great things about this but is it worth it to get if i plan on having the baby in the crib in its room right away?
Just curious if I should register for it...

Re: Fisher Price® Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
I love mine but the baby isn't here yet lol. It's one of the items I was most excited about getting and thrilled to have received. Now, I just hope my little girl likes it!
We have the PnP in our bedroom for her to sleep in, but I plan to have this in the living room with me. Plus I figure it'll be great for trips to the in-laws or wherever since it's really very portable.

Re: Fisher Price® Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
i registered for the most simple pnp which i figured we would use if we go anywhere which has a place for the newborn to sleep
so i figured the rock n play would be another option for the baby and maybe i would keep it in the living room but we live in a 2 bedroom coop so its not like the babies room is on another floor or right there

I registered for Fisher-Price Deluxe Infant to Toddler Comfort Rocker. which one do you think is better? The one you posted looks great bc its higher but them I worry the baby will fall.

Re: Fisher Price® Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
After going to visit Dana (DSLaff) and seeing how much baby Connor loved that thing, I put it on my registry immediately.
Yes, we did register for a Pack and Play as well (and I did get BOTH items at my baby shower)..
That rock n play sleeper looks so convenient and great, especially for the first few months.

I registered for this too. I plan on putting her in the crib right away, but I also wanted the option of keeping her close by, or moving it to the living room or wherever in the beginning. It's a good price too.

Re: Fisher Price® Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
I had it on my registry as well. I have heard nothing but great things about it. I got a gift card from a family member and bought it and then took it off my registry. I can't wait to use it.
They said you can use it bedside especially in the beginning. Its a decent price and must cheaper then getting a bassinet or cradle. Plus its portable and you can bring it into the living room or to grandma's house.
I think I googled on youtube the review and watched it. try doing that if you are not sold on it.

Re: Fisher Price® Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
I registered for it after so many BTDT moms recommended it. I'm using a bassinet in our room until he is ready for the crib, and I am leaving the Rock 'n Play Sleeper at my parents' house. I am there so often, that I figured that would be the best option to put him down in when he naps over there.

Re: Fisher Price® Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
I don't see the need for it. DD sleeps AND naps in her crib, and has a pack and play downstairs at my mom's that is more useless and we can get use out of it for a longer amount of time.
Some people swear by it though!

Re: Fisher Price® Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
I liked this, but I realized with a 60 lb dog putting this at our bedside likely would not work. I'm borrowing a bassinet and then using a pack and play for the living room. If it seems like the baby doesn't like the rocker or the swing I may pick this up.

Re: Fisher Price® Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
get it! GET IT!
at 7 months, DS still lounges in it in the am while we get ready for work.
we got it around 2 weeks and DS napped in it during the day and then slept in his crib at night.
the best part is that it folds flat so you can take it anywhere!
it is the #1 thing I recommend for ALL new moms!
eta - we have a pack and play also and have NEVER used it
