Fisher-Price Rainforest Waterfall & daycare moms
Anyone have this on their DC crib? We have a mobile for DS's crib that he loves, but for daycare we thought this might be good for DS to watch when he goes in for a nap in his crib. THis way the teachers don't have to wind it or anything. They just hit play and it plays for 15 mins I think. What's your thought for the daycare

AJ has and loves the Ocean Wonders Aquarium.
Oddly enough her daycare had an older version of it there too (her first place) and when i dropped her off I said how she loved the one she had at home, they moved a spare on into her crib. Every crib had some sort of moving, lighted, musical thing (touch and play). I was going to take a mobile but they said no (dangerous when trying to get to the child quickly in case of emergancies) Honestly thier's was fine and she was just fine with it.
Now at the new daycare, they didnt have one in there, but within in a week or so I noticed her crib adopted one! lol. I never said a word to them. I think its practically common knowledge that they soothe and entertain a baby.

I would check and see if they provide something already. The rainforest soother has 3 setting BTW. One setting I think is 15 minutes but that setting is music only. One setting is 8 minutes or so and it's lights & music. The last setting runs about 5 minutes and it's lights, motion & music. I just wanted you to be aware of how it works. I wish the motion, lights & music would run for 15 minutes...that would be great for us.

We had this on DS's crib also but, for some strange reason, he dosen't even look for it at daycare. He goes right in his crib. Recently, he started kicking it in his crib and it was damaging the wood so I took it out. Now I just play a doll in his crib that plays for 10 minutes. But, he dosent look for it at daycare. Strange
