Fitness Question
Do love handles come with pregnancy?!? I never had them before and am starting to acquire them...is there something that you can do while pregnant to get rid of them, without overdoing it? I am walking and use the elliptical not as often as I could be but I am active, thought about running again but don't want to overdue it. Will walking tone them up? I haven't done abs because I've been too nervous. Do they stretch out with your belly as it grows? I know everyone is different and carries different but just curious to know if anyone has had this experience. I am not over indulging in food either I eat healthy and right for the both of us and I know my body is supposed to be growing just wondering how you all stay fit and deal.

Re: Fitness Question
I don't know if everyone gets it but I definitely notice them and I still try to work out a few days a week.. doesn't seem like there is much I can do about it.

Re: Fitness Question
I am too - I know it's hard, but you kind of just need to go with it.
My BIL once said that pregnant women shouldn't gain weight anywhere but their stomach, but that is SO wrong! Your body is in 'storage' mode throughout your pregnancy, so it will take whatever you're not using and tuck it away "just in case." Unless you're expending the exact amount of calories you're taking in, there's not much you can do about it. I'm just trying to be as healthy as I can and I'll worry about the after effects, well, after...

Re: Fitness Question
I'm the same way as you... Worked out like crazy and a lot on my stomach. As soon as I found out I was prego I stopped doing crunches or any other kind of stomach exercise. Of course first tri I noticed my belly no longer flat b/c of this.... there's really nothing you can do. Your body is getting ready for the baby. Your hips will get a bit bigger and your belly too. I finally popped around 23 weeks and feel better I look pregnant rather than putting on weight. Now I still work out a lot doing cardio and I'll do weights with my arms. My body looks better now then it did in the first tri.

Re: Fitness Question
Yea... I am just going to worry about getting rid of it after I have the twins.
