fitting into a dress for May 19...hopeless?
so I have this gorgeous black dress i want to wear to my cousin's wedding may 19 . it "fits" but not the way i want it to! i need to tone up if i really want to feel comfortable in it. I wore the dress right before i had dd when i was at my thinnest and my goal was to wear it again for this wedding. what's the quickest most efficient way to tone up my mid section, including love handles?! is it hopeless by may 19 ?! i really didn't want to have to buy a new dress!

i would try Insanity. I'm on week 5 (the recovery week) and my belly and love handles have gone down a lot. Not at where I want to be but a definite improvement. Good Luck

I would not say it is hopeless but your time line is pretty short. Have you considered working with a personal trainer. They could customize your program and adjust it according to your progress.
Pilates is great for strengthening your core. I like the Winsor pilates workouts and the books/DVD by Brooke Siler.
In addition to working out foundation garments can make a huge difference in the fit of a dress. They really help to smooth everything out.

I think its do-able. Just do a ton of cardio and go wheat-free/dairy-free for a while. You have six weeks, so if you lost 2 lbs a week, that is 12 lbs. Idk-I never got results from doing a specific exercises for certain areas, so I tend to be cardio-heavy and do strength training through doing Zumba with wrist weights and yoga when I have time.
I lost 10 lbs in the past two months but running/doing Zumba 3-4X a week and cutting out dairy and bread. Eat mostly veggies, beans, lean protein and no processed food or soda.
I also became recently obsessed with these green smoothie drinks-I have them for breakfast now and I think that has given me a little boost in weight loss. Green Smoothie
