Fixing cracked iPad screen
I won't even get into how it happened, but my iPad was dropped and the screen cracked.
Did anybody have theirs fixed through a third party vendor or did you go through Apple and pay $$?

I went to a guy on Main st in flushing, a block from the botanical gardens. It was $125-150

I think it is $249-$299 at apple depending on which model.. I wish I had a suggestion on where to go for cheaper than that! =(

Thank you anyway:) I think I'm going to go through Apple and just pay the extra. They offer guarantee as well.

Just got back from the Apple store a few hundred poorer but I got the AppleCare + which covers water damage and cracked screen. It was $49 but should anything happen it'll cost me $49 to get a brand new iPad. Lesson learned.
