Fixing cracked tub
Today my husband is irate because he stepped into the bathtub for a shower and the bathtub cracked by his heel. There is a 4-5 crack in the tub. He is pissed because the tub is about 2 years old.
So while he is complaining and yelling, I need to know- how does this get repaired? We don't have a ton of money to spend and we just finished renovating the house (including 2 1/2 baths and a kitchen)
Can I seal the crack? Wondering if I can do one of those things that fix over the original bathtub.
Any suggestions? And any price approximations?
We are in Nassau

Call Melga Sales - I'm not sure if they come out to Nassau but we used them to refinish and reglaze two tubs (and tiles) and are extremely happy with the work. They did a bunch of bathrooms in a friend's building and the results are great. 718-258-9292. I can't link their website here since I'm posting from my phone but you can google them.
