Re: fleas

are the second set of fleas the eggs from the previous ones?
Vacuum everyday and keep up with the flea treatments to break the cycle. It took a good few weeks for us to stop seeing them when we had them. Used flea powder on rugs, carpet and couch & flea meds. Have not seen them in months..

good luck.

Re: fleas

Honestly, I dont know what Vectra is but if he is old enough, you really should consider using Frontline. It prevents infestations. Your dog will easily pick up fleas at the park. My dogs do, but b/c I have them on Frontline, the fleas die and arent able to reproduce. I never have any problems that way, been using it for years.

When you use frontline, you dont have to worry about bombing the house, vacuuming, etc.

I dno if these fleas r from the eggs...I live across from a park so its prob coming from there....the vectra works like this, the flea can be on her body but doesn't bite her juist makes her itchy, they ingest the vectra and start to die so they aren't biting her...

Now I talked to my vet and she said I dnt need an exterminator but homedepot has these bombs you could let off...

I dno what to do...bc I dno if they eggs r in the house or when we outside they leech on her

What age and weight is your dog? I dont know why, IF YOUR DOG IS THE RIGHT AGE AND WEIGHT, would your vet not suggest frontline? Breaks the flea cycle. Kills adult fleas, larva and eggs...which breaks the cycle. And trust me, if you have a dog, and you take your dog to the park (or really anywhere other dogs are) you run the risk of picking up fleas each time. We have picked them up and never had to do anything to treat our home, b/c the frontline prevented a major infestation.
Unless you break the flea cycle, bombs, vacumming, etc, won't stop new fleas from entering the home.

I dont know much about Vectra. Maybe she is too small, weighs too little for frontline? Or maybe Vectra is similar, I would have to read more about it.
