here is a review I found:
"Flowerbomb? Smells sweet, spicy, caramelly and a bit like all-spice. Also this reminds me of blonde brownies baking in the oven. This isn't what I expected from a perfume named Flowerbomb.?! This is one-dimensional, as it doesn't change from the moment you put it on till it slowly wears off. In all honesty, Flowerbomb smells EXACTLY like Avon's Extraordinary! In a blind sniff test, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart. The only difference is Flowerbomb does last longer and has a bit more sillage. Also on the plus side the, bottle is very unique and makes a great conversation piece. Tho I like this, I don't think it's bottleworthy!"

FLOWERBOMB is available at Saks too and it smells REALLY good! My family and I were at Saks and totally made fun of the name because it was so ridiculous, but my sister ended up getting it for her birthday because it smells so good. I think it's sweet that your DH and his brother are doing the right thing by their mom for Mother's day.

OK, please don't flame me for my opinion but ----------> I see nothing wrong with Hubby and BIL getting their mom a $150 gift, even if its called Flowerbomb. She is their mother and one day (if you're not already) you too may be someones mom. You'll expect the same treatment.
Also I think its wrong to suggest that your FIL buy the perfume for mothers day, maybe for an anniversary but not for this Sunday. After all,we're talking about 2 grown men that I assume work,why would FIL be expected to help them out?
I don't want to stir things up,I do agree $150 is kinda extreme for a bottle of perfume but I don't feel $75 bucks(half and half,right?) is too much to ask of your adult sons.

In theory I believe you are right. But if maybe they're on a buget? I don't know. I'm just in a rut w/ my MIL so there goes my reasoning.
