Actually I think it's wrong for her to ask for a $150 bottle of perfume or anything else....period. Unless they specifically asked her for ideas, than she can suggest a few items. They should get her a gift on their own volition - whatever they can afford, whatever they decide is appropriate.

With reading all your recent posts about MIL, I agree- this year you deserve an "EXCUSED PASS" from Mothers Day. 
Sure,initially I feel a tad guilty for expensive gifts from DH and DS(who is only 9,so of course they are really from DH) but I can't say that I don't love 'em.
My favorite all time gifts are home-made ones but, that would be kinda freaky from my "adult" son

It smells WONDERFUL.. I have a bottle...the smaller one though... still was $100... oh, and they sell it at Saks as well, that was actually the first place that carried it...
