Follow up appt post D&C
Had my first follow up yesterday w dr pillitteri, he took out my stitches from the lap, talked a bit and told me to come back for an internal in 4 weeks. Got the beta back today, it's at a 6! I never thought I'd ve so happy to hear such a low beta! I was worried it wouldn't drop enough after the D&C and I'd have to get the methotrexate which I wad trying to avoid. Atleast it seems something is going right!

Dr B had said I could try as soon as I get a period again. I have a consult with him next week so we can discuss what protocol we are going with this time around. I believe we are adding intralipids.

That's not bad! (I hate comparing one situation to another, but I was told to wait 2 cycles  ) The time will hopefully pass quickly for you! Being back next week and discussing a protocol will definitely help!

Yeah I can't wait to atleast find out our gameplan! I hate that everything with IF is waiting waiting waiting! I believe you were further along then I was, I was would have been 6 weeks at time of d&c but probably miscarried before that but I didn't pass the pg hence the d&c, maybe it has something to do with that?

I was 17.5wks along  .. Still, 4wks should go by quickly. Figure by Thanksgiving you will be reentering the game pretty soon!
(I am a calendar nut and since going through infertility, always looking for ways to justify how to make the time pass) It's so true.. waiting .. waiting.. waiting...

I'm so sorry 
Sometimes I have a hard time remembering which screename belongs to what story! I've been following yours. Waiting for a period feels like an eternity even though I know it's not. I'm in the mindset where atleast if I'm prepping for a cycle I feel like I'm doing something about it KWIM? Where are you at this point?

That's ok, I often have a hard time keeping up as well. I def know what you mean about prepping for a cycle and feeling like you're doing something. After my loss I had to wait 8wks and basically couldn't do anything! Even starting metformin again felt like a relief (I stopped while I was pregnant and started taking it 2wks after my D&E)
At this point I'm starting my 2nd IUI cycle after my loss. I got pregnant on the 3rd try last time.. but now I'm hoping 2 is all it takes!! 
I really think the time will pass quickly for you since it's close to the holidays and all. This time of year there's just so much going on!

Glad you finally got some good news. I'm waiting for my beta to go down too..i know its rough..i was 6w and was told to wait 2 periods by Dr. P.
I truly hope this next cycle brings you a BFP!!

He must hate me for making him stay late that night 
I think i may "try" natural this month and then i have to start BCPs in December for January cycle
I am so nervous for my follow up with Dr. P

I have a consult set up with Dr B Tuesday so I'll know more about my protocol. I know I was nervous about the follow up, mainly bc I was nervous about the beta not dropping enough. Don't be nervous, it will be fine!
