food question for 1 year old
When did you stop chopping some/all the soft food up?
I just started to give DD a long, skinny peice of babana and I broke a nutri grain bar in half (she only has her 2 bottom teeth)
I am wondering if I am doing this too early? she seemed ok with it but not used to it. she kept throwing them instead of eating , almost like she didnt know what to do with it.
Just wondering if everyone else is doing this? What foods are you doing this with?

Re: food question for 1 year old
My DD seems to like it better when it is bigger. That way she can get her fingers to grasp it. She has 7 teeth, but I don't think that matters since she pretty much chews with her gums, no molars yet.
Try it out first with soft foods then see how she does and move on to other foods.

Re: food question for 1 year old
Logan is 13 months. I am starting to let him bite pieces off of foods while I hold them only. I figure this will get him used to the concept of smaller bites when he holds it himself.
I do things like cereal bars, sandwiches, ice cream sandwiches, mangoes, bagels ect.
Edtied to say he has 5 teeth...only in the front though.
