For 2 Working Parents - Daycare Question from FTM!
Not sure if I would post this here or "Pregnancy" board but..
for those TTCing (I'm about to start in 2 weeks) and for couples where both parents will keep working after Maternity Leave is completed, do you know what you will do day-care wise for your three month old? I feel like this is the part stressing me out most! Cost and organizing this!

For 2 Working Parents - Daycare Question from FTM!
I put my ds in daycare at 8 weeks. Never second guessed my decision.
I never wanted to stay home and his daycare is amazing.

I am planning to be self-employed at that point. But if things don't go as planned and I have to continue to work then the care will be split between DH, MIL and my mother

I did FT daycare at 4 mos with my DD and plan on doing it at 3 mos whenever I have #2. You adjust pretty quickly with the routine and packing everything the night before. It is a small fortune though.

I know! I'm sure there's a way to make it work, but whoa I wasn't expecting the quotes I was getting! Thanks so much for the help/answer!

Re: For 2 Working Parents - Daycare Question from FTM!
We tried DS in day care at 4 months but I wasn't happy with that situation for various reasons, so we hired a nanny. At 19 months old, we moved, and now he's in a different day care 3 days a week, where we're happy, and my mom watches him 2 days a week.
When we have another child, the baby will go to day care at 3 months old.

i had to return to work and at 12 weeks old ds was in full time daycare. Hated he first one i chose and at 6 months, he was placed in a new one. Been there since, and love it..whenever DC #2 comes, we will do the same thing.. FT daycare. Good luck.

THanks! Unless a neighbor or friend has a baby around the same time and we can do a Nanny-share, then I will do Daycare full time, as well.

Exactly this. I can't tell you how happy I am that she has been in daycare. It's truly truly the best thing I ever did.
