This is just crazy on so many levels.
But I don't understand what having one autistic child has to do with anything. Why does that matter?
That child needs more attention than a non-autistic child.
What kind of care and attention will he get as 1 of 13?
What money will be left for his treatment?
This woman is a selfish POS

I hope Oprah rips her a new one....
I hope oprah doesn't have her on the show. This woman should not be paid one dime for her story.

I am pretty sure oprah doesn't pay people for their appearances. I remember another high profile person was supposed to be on her show and they wanted $$$ and Oprah had said she has never and doesn't plan on paying people for their apperances.

I'm more sickend by this Dr. than this woman.
Exactly how I feel - this is a sick sick woman and I'm disgusted by her - but the unethical doctor who did this????? I hope he/she loses his medical license!!!

Well - from the comfort of my armchair I can sit here and say a lot of what I *think* about her and a doctor that thought it was smart to implant her with 8 embryos. But instead I'm gonna just say that I hope fervently that whatever mental illness or challenge she has or doesn't have - does not preclude her from giving those children the love and the attention they deserve. She's human. She's flawed. It's not going to make me feel any better to castigate her - so I guess I'll be the sucker who just prays that there is still more to learn.
And - I kind of hope she does get money. I mean - I hate the idea that she may have had children to 'cash in' - but she has them now and I don't want them to suffer for the sins of their mother.
