First off, thank you for taking the time to do this for meChat Icon

1) If it is impossible for your significant other to come with you the day of transfer, is that OK? I forgot how I felt with my fresh cycle and if I "need" him:)
Of course emoitionally it would be nice but we may have nobody to watch my DD.

2) How long before your transfer did you find out if your embies made it through the thaw or not? Were you already there when they told you?

3) What was your progesterone (approx) on day 3 and day 6 after your transfer IF it resulted in a positive pregnancy test?

4) If I were to get pregnant do I go by the day of my last period or is it different with an FET?

5) If you got a negative pregnancy test how many days later did you get your period or did you get it before your test?

- Hubby was there for both fresh and frozen cycle. However for a frozen, it didnt seem like I needed him. You could get up after 15 minutes and go about your business... no worries...

2) How long before your transfer did you find out if your embies made it through the thaw or not? Were you already there when they told you?
- As we waited for our transfer, the doctor came in and told us the status of our embryos... We didnt find out that one didnt make it to thaw until that day though... (we were thawing 3 and 2 made it0

3) What was your progesterone (approx) on day 3 and day 6 after your transfer IF it resulted in a positive pregnancy test?
- I'm not sure! Sorry I cant answer!

-DH had to come with me for the transfer to sign paperwork.

2) How long before your transfer did you find out if your embies made it through the thaw or not? Were you already there when they told you?

-Same day. Yes, we were already there.

3) What was your progesterone (approx) on day 3 and day 6 after your transfer IF it resulted in a positive pregnancy test?

-Did not have progesterone checked after transfer.

4) If I were to get pregnant do I go by the day of my last period or is it different with an FET?

-http://www.ivf.ca/fet5dayduedate.php - that's a calculator you can use for due dates with an FET.

5) If you got a negative pregnancy test how many days later did you get your period or did you get it before your test?

-my first FET was negative. i had a negative beta on 10dp5dt. I honestly don't remember when my period came.... but typically it was 3 days after stopping progesterone.

Thanks for your replies! Question, you said you had your pregnancy test 10dp5dt. I though that was the norm but they have be coming in on what would be 12dp5dt, which stinks. Unless, of course, the nurse calculated wrong:)

Of course emotionally it would be nice but we may have nobody to watch my DD.

- honestly you really never need DH at a transfer. But, its nice when they come along. I'm usually too nervous to drive and since we don't tell anyone anything he's the only one who can drive me.

2) How long before your transfer did you find out if your embies made it through the thaw or not? Were you already there when they told you?

- I go to Cornell and they called me around 11am to tell me if the emby's made it through the thaw. Any other info I got in the room right before transfer.

3) What was your progesterone (approx) on day 3 and day 6 after your transfer IF it resulted in a positive pregnancy test?

-n/a

4) If I were to get pregnant do I go by the day of my last period or is it different with an FET?

- its the same with an FET.

5) If you got a negative pregnancy test how many days later did you get your period or did you get it before your test?

-for me, it depended on what day it falls. Usually Cornell tests 10 days after the transfer. But, mine usually fell on a weekend and for some reason they don't do betas on weekends. So it could be more days because I'd have to wait till Monday.
