For all you BF'ing moms---nutrition/diet question
Our little will be here in 2.5 weeks and I plan to breastfeed. I know they said to up for food intake a little.
I was wondering...what do you usually eat to make sure you and baby are getting the proper nutrition? Is there anything in particular? What do you normally eat in a day? What should i stay away from?
Thanks ladies!!

Well, for me, I had no choice to to eventually stay away from all things dairy. I did my best, but it was HARD She wasn't tolerating it.
Spicy foods and caffeine can sometimes affect your baby through BFing
You don't have to eat anything specific....but nutrition is just as important as when you were pg.
Sure sitting down with a bag of chips is fabulous...but...I would say keep up with your veggies (but beware the gassy ones!) proteins.
I ate basically the same, healthy minus the dairy, just A LOT more than when I was even pg. I was FAMISHED.

I didn't change anything from what I was eating when I was pregnant.
The only thing I really changed was I increased my water intake.
