? for FET ladies
Did you take the same meds during your FET as with your fresh cycle/pregnancy?
ETA: With prenancy #1 I was on dexamethosone (due to slight immune problem), metformin (for PCOS) and lovenox (to increase my uterine artery blood flow) a bit before and during my pregnancy. Dr wasn't 100% sure what was causing my IF so he put me on those. So my question is, if you were on meds in addition to the stim meds did you take them for your FET? And did you use the same dr?

I haven't done a FEt but here's how I understand it. You're not taking the same amount of meds because they aren't trying to stimulate you to make multiple eggs as the embryos are already made. Depending on if it's a natural FET or a medicated FET will depend on if you take estrogen to help build the lining. I believe you take progesterone with a natural and medicated FET after transfer also.

Re: ? for FET ladies
No, much less and the cycle is much faster.
At my dr.....
Estrace (pills) days 3 -12. Day 13: blood and sono, then add more meds (mostly pills but also PIO) Transfer day 15. Finish pills and start Endometrin (or continue PIO if your insurance won't cover Endometrin)
Hope that helps!!!!!

Nope. It was a lot less meds. No hormone shots. I believe it was Estrace and PIO. The cycle was so much easier bc they aren't looking for follicles they are looking for your lining to be ready and your hormone levels to be right. GL

Re: ? for FET ladies
No. They only medication I had to take during my FET cycle was Crinone. Nothing else but monitoring.

You will probably take the Lovenox, metformin and dex. All help with implantation, lining, blood flow
