this was my last post about myself that day:

lost my mucous plug/bloody show

and the pressure and cramping continues from yesterday's doc visit....i dont feel like im having contractions that i can time as of yet but im definitely paying attention.....could this be it?!

eta does anyone know if ur water breaks after the bloody show for everyone???

this is my last post that i made that day at 3:00pm on Goldi's thread (we were due the same day) and i went to the hospital that evening at 630pm after my water broke at 530pm:

nooooo leslie dont be.....u might not even lose urs and go into labor right away.....i lost mine at 5am and im getting a lil antsy and discouraged bc i really just expected the "magic" to happen right away but ppl say even though u have ur show/lose the plug it could still be days/wks left....im still here with ya

Seriously though, my doc says that it doesn't even happen for everyone. It was pretty hilarious when he did the exam yesterday.

Me: Nothing going on huh?

Him: Nuh-uh.

exactly a lot of my friends/family members didnt ever lose theirs.... i actually called my one good friend that it did happen to explain it to her so u might not have to go down the road of being a plug loser afterall, its better that way, dont give in to the peer pressure and as for the convo bc u and the doc that i was my EXACT convo with my doc last week

her: ummm im gonna have to say no nada
me: ok so u dont have to say it in spanish too

One of my friends gave us a gift certificate to get a tree in celebration of the baby. So this weekend, we went to pick it out, and they just came to plant it today! I have pics, but I have to upload them first. I thought it would be cute to take pictures each year with the baby on his or her birthday standing next to the tree!


Guess we planted that tree just in time!!!

Here was my last post... just had to stop by LIF before heading to the hospital!



OK, so we went to the doctor at 2:30.

She thinks my water broke...
I am 1 cm dilated...
50% effaced...

Since we are 4 days past due and my water broke they are sending us to the hospital to be induced!!!



We should get to meet our little baby by tomorrow!!!!



I am so excited everyone! Please send easy labor vibes!!!!!

My last post was boring. I commented on how nice the walls and furniture in someone's nursery went together.

However, I posted this the day before I gave birth. I went into labor that night or next morning (12am)

At over 39 weeks I am still only one centimeter and so anxious to meet already. I can't believe I am #2 on the expecting list. Are there any other April Mommies left? I have a feeling I might become a May mommy...

Starting to think about the christening.

Kind of weird since the baby is not even here yet. But Dh and I already deceided that it will be in our house and it will be immediate family and close friends only.

Anyone else planning or thinking about it?
