Re: For those going back to work after giving birth
I was concerned about the attention thing - but I popped into the day care center a few times and saw the babies being held, fed, and paid attention to - no, my baby wont get 1:1 attention all the time, but that is probably not such a great thing anyway - baby needs to learn how to occupy him/herself at times....

Do any of you have any concerns that the baby might be too little? Might not get enough attention etc etc...Im just starting to think about it and it kind of freaks me out...
I actually do have this concern. DS did not go to daycare until he as 1 years old. I didn't worry about him too much bc I knew he could hold his own. We are trying to push back sending this baby to daycare as long as possible. Right now we're looking at 4 months that's with me going back to work after 12 weeks, my mom coming to take care of baby for 2 weeks and ILs watching the baby for another 2 weeks.
We are currently wondering if we're even going to stay at the same daycare bc I don't think the infants get as much 1-to-1 care as they should. The owner usually takes care of the infants, but many times when I call during the day or when DH picks up/drops off DS she's not there. This leads me to believe that the other 2 staff members are trying to take care of 2-3 infants while engaging 8 other kids.
