When she comes and I transition her into what will be her room.... I will be leaving the door open (even tho in case of fire, I know that it's safer to have the door closed).

The forced air in that room is unfortunately very weak, and when that door is closed, it gets terribly cold in there.

DS always sleeps with door open. When we put on the humidifier, we do the same...the room does get much colder w/it on.

We always keep her dorr open a crack-even with the humidifier. However, I have read that you are always supposed to keep it closed in case of fires.

Closed. Well open a tiny crack so they can open their door if they have to go potty in the middle of the night.

It seems to defeat the purpose if I leave the door open because I want the humidity in their room versus the whole house.
