Not pregnant with #2 or even #1 but my mom had us very very close! I was born in Aug of '77 and my brother was born in Nov of '78. She always said it was easier with 2 babies at the same time because we were both in diapers etc. She liked it. Then she had my other brother in June '81...by that time I was 3 and I was the big helper

My oldest girls are 20 months apart. They are the best of friends, and never had any sibling rivalry! It honestly was not that tough having two in diapers (really.... big deal!). They went through so many of their milestones close together, and even developed their own language.
Go for it, I say! My own sisters are 18 months apart, and I wish I had thei closeness. Good luck!

for me, personally, 2 under 2 is NOT an option. I plan to have dc #2 when my dd is 2.5 - 3 hopefully
