For those who check their cervix
How exactly do you know what to feel for? Sorry if this is TMI but I have no clue. Ive read up on it but I still dont understand. Hopfully one of you lovely ladies can shed some light on this topic.

It's confusing to me too. I know at certain times it is supposed to feel like the tip of your nose and other times, soft like your bottom lip. It makes me

great question... i wasnt sure if people actually checked themselves... i wouldnt really know what i was doing i couldnt ever trust what i felt

Yea..it is very confusing. So far it does feel like the tip of a nose to me...This is my first month really checking my cervix so I do hope Im doing it right and that I will notice a change soon since I should be O'ing soon. I just dont know how would you know that it is closed as opposed to open? Or firm as opposed to soft...grr

Its very annoying. Sometimes I dont know if I am even going up deep enough..Sorry TMI  It feels the same everytime I check thats why I question weather I am actually doing it right. But then again, I havent reached O yet so I guess I really shouldnt be noticing a change just yet.

I just started checking mine and also have no idea what it's supposed to feel like. What I CAN tell you is that as I get closer to ovulation, really just the day of I guess, I can definitely feel a change. Softer, lower, a slightly bigger opening.
That, combined with EWCM, is making me think that I am ovulating. But it all still feels like guesswork!
