For those who go to weight watchers..question..
Ok..
DH and I were talking last night. I HAVE TO lose weight and although he is a man who carries his weight better, he needs to lose as well. His dad was VERY HEAVY and passed away young. So we need to do this together. I am dieing to go to weight watchers but I dont want to go alone. My dh has offered to join with me and go to a weekly meeting as well. I feel kind of funny doing this..I think people will look at us weird. Do any men go at all? I have never been to a meeting so I dont know...would we look funny going as a couple?? Honest opinion please!

You will not look funny. There are plenty of men that go to the meetings. And they are usually there with their wives.
I give you credit. I have been trying to get my DH to go - he won't budge.
Doing it together is commendable!!!

I think that is fantastic that your DH wants to go with you. If weight is something that he struggles with and that his father was heavy, I think it is a great thing that he wants to do something about it. And the fact that he wants to do this with you is something that can keep you both motivated. Having a wonderful supporter like you own husband can't be any better! I think it is great and their are definitely men that go, so he will not feel funny. Good Luck to both of you!

There aren't that many men, but often men go with their wives. I think the other women think it's great that the husband supports the wife and vice versa.
Good luck - it's a good program and works if you follow it!

Back in the days when I went to meetings there were just as many men there as there was women.
I think it's awesome that your DH wants to go with you.

There are men at the meetings too, just not as many as women. I think it's great that he wants to do this with you. Go for it!
