For those who have a child still in an infant car seat....do you have one of those mirrors so you can see them through the rear view??

No. The carseat guy from the Nassau County Board of Safety told us they were a hazard in case of accident.
We also had to remove the carseat protector under the infant carseat as they interfer the way the seat is supposed to react in case of accident.

We had one when DS was in the infant seat and it was great. We had this one IMAGE
we have this one too.

If it's attached with a tether, it's not going anywhere in an accident. Much like a carseat that is attached with the tether won't go anywhere. I probably wouldn't use the kind that just straps to the headrest though with sticky tape or foam wedges like I've seen.
