For those who have delivered/are delivering at Katz
I just received a package today with some info about the hospital and I had some questions
It says some of the rooms are private and some are semi-private. Im hoping this hasn't been updated since LIJ built their new building.. is it possible that I'll share a room?
Also, what about a place for DH to sleep if he decides to?
Anything I should realy know/be prepared for?

All the rooms are private. The sofa pulls out. That's were my dh slept. If you can take a tour.

I got the same info today and I think it's old info. It doesn't say anything about Katz so I'm assuming they never updated it. All the room are private!

It's like a freaking hotel there. I just was released yesterday. GORGEOUS!
All the rooms are private. The staff is amazing. The food isn't thaaat bad. I swear I was the only one on the floor because it's so huge.
They have blowdryers, toothpaste, towels, mouthwash, toothbrushes, etc. There is a nourishment station with coffee, tea and snacks- all free. Bring $ for the tv, it's $6.50 a day I think.
It was seriously such a nice stay, I was so comfortable :)

i was there not too long ago...making a train of blood as i went
i was assured all rooms r private and the couch folds out
we r taking the tour in a few weeks
