For those who have grieved taxes...
I had a copy of our tax bill sent to us (we closed on 12/23) and I never got a copy of it...
the assessed value of our house is $78k MORE than we paid...
does that mean we should grieve them? (its in suffolk)
shouldnt the assessed value be close to market?
TIA?

yes if the assessed value is more than what you paid for the house you should grieve them. it should be an easy case to win.
