how long did you spot/have brownish discharge for?

I didnt spot after the pap.. I did spot a little after the internal sono though. I wouldnt worry about it..theres alot going on down there right now, its normal!

I didn't have anything happen after either from this one. But in the past regular yearly visits, I've had some. It's definitely normal. I usually found I bled from the place they biopsied/scraped so it was very little. It's still always unsettling.

thanks girls - i have never spotted after one before so thats why im a bit nervous
but the dr said it was normal and it doesnt look scary so i am going to try not to worry about it

have had 5 paps with 5 different pregnancy and never spotted after. The paps didn't seem any different then non pregnant paps.
I was told that I may spot or cramp after each one though so I assume many woman do.

I just had mine last week and was terrified of seeing brown spotting but I didn't have any. Don't worry if you do though, it's normal after an exam.

I spotted for a few days after. I was totally freaked by seeing it.. even though I was told it could happen.

I had my pap and sono over the summer, before we got PG...I spotted for two days but that had never happened before.
I am so glad it happened, because now I know it could happen during this PG and I hope I won't freak out too much.
